Oostland Company is a pepper cultivation and packaging company of 19 hectares in Berkel en Rodenrijs at the Netherlands. The company is led by

AHead of Production
The company has four locations, you will manage one of these locations. In this managerial role you are responsible for the work in the greenhouse and the surrounding technology.
Function content first half year:
In this position you are responsible for:
⦁ The harvesting activities and their quality.
⦁ You manage a group of employees, you create a pleasant constructive working atmosphere.
⦁ You monitor the quality of the production operations and give a good example.
⦁ You take the employees seriously and you give the right attention.
⦁ You are the contact person and are responsible for the cleanliness of this location.
⦁ You closely follow the development of the crop and you are in contact with the management for the production planning.
Addition to position from 2nd half year:
⦁ You guide and check the crop employees.
⦁ You manage crop protection (biological and chemical control).
⦁ You manage the associated technology.
⦁ You will be involved in the cultivation of peppers.
Addition to position from 2nd year:
⦁ Running alarm and weekend shifts for the greenhouse departments in due course.
⦁ You are serious, motivated and can work in a team.
⦁ You are a very driven person who can motivate employees.
⦁ You are prepared to start early in the morning and to work on weekends (public holidays).
⦁ You have a strong personality, you can make decisions and are resistant to stress.
⦁ Experience in horticulture is a must.
⦁ You have technical insight and good computer skills.
⦁ Do you speak the Polish language? Then you have an edge. English is an advantage.
